Feature Requests

Giles Croft put in the same feature request about a year ago. I'd love the ability to embed PDFs on specific website pages the same way Simplero displays them on the media file page in the admin area. There are workarounds, but it requires you to host the PDF files elsewhere, which sort of defeats the purpose of paying Simplero to store and host your files. Ideally, Simplero would create a link that displays the PDF just as it does when you click on the media file in the media library. This way, you can keep everything in one place vs. paying for a separate file hosting solution. Upvote if you agree. Thanks!

We sell our audio books as courses and try to make them look really appealing. It would be nice to have the possibility to upload an image to the audio files, so that it is shown in the player, similar to iTunes (Apple Music) and Spotify etc,

Hi. It would be nice to have a source link-field in the right sidebar of the image files. Example: We often create images in canva and sometimes we have to update the image with some new text (like time and date for an event). It would be SO easy if there was a link in Simplero's media library that would take us directly to the original source of the file. Other usecase: You have dowloaded a stock photo and edited it. Now you realize that you need to create a new image with the same stock photo... but you can't remember where you purchased the photo... It would make it SO ease if you were able to click a link right next to the file that would take you to the original photo. Yet another usecase: You have multiples images in the simplero media library that are kind of the same or uses the same stockphoto - but you have added different captions to the image - now you would like to quickly link theese images together to be able to find them easily. Solution could be: have the possibility to add links in the right sidebar of the image files: click a button "add a source link" Fill our a field with the URL and save Click the button again, if you need to add more links for the same image. A great way to generate income is by writing eBooks and recording audiobooks, then selling them through Simplero. With audiobooks, customers can easily listen via the built-in player or on the web. However, this convenience doesn’t extend to eBooks, as Simplero does not support the ePub format. So why don’t I simply sell digital books as downloadable files? The main reason is the lack of copyright protection for the files. That said, since ePub is essentially a compacted HTML + CSS file, I believe implementing an eBook reader in Simplero would be a relatively straightforward feature to develop.

In the media library/video it is difficult to see which still is selected as thumbnail. An easy fix would be to change the selection frame color.

Hi team I love that we can go into our media library and replace any video or PDF with a new one without having to in to every single place it's been used. Currently we can't do that with images - I don't know if there's a reason to why we can't? But I would like to have that possibility, so for instance when I get sent my next 2025 Simplero Expert badge, in stead of having to go in to all of my pages I can just switch the 2024 badge picture to the 2025 one in stead. Hope it makes sense to give us that option on images as well, as it would be very helpful. Thanks, Sarah

The Skyrocket transcription feature is awesome, BUT it has occasional errors. For example, it spells my name wrong, and my company name wrong, and the name of the tool I'm training on wrong. These are quite frankly deal-breakers! I need to be able to correct a transcription file. I know this issue has ALREADY been reported here https://requests.simplero.com/feature-requests/p/correcting-transcripts-problem which is marked as resolved, but it's not resolved, so I'm re-submitting the same feature request.

Hi, I had my data stolen by a rogue/disgruntled employee on New Years Eve. He removed all my images, videos and emptied the membership sites/web-site. It took me a while to resolve and I had to suspend my business for a week or so. I was under the impression that things were backed-up by Simplero but was eventually told they had not been despite this being quoted in your terms of service. Is this something you can look into. Obviously I will never give this level of access to anyone gain- lesson learned! Thanks Lee

I almost didn't realize you had the capability to add custom sizes to images or to use the wonderful built in image editor because the only way to tap into it that I can find is through the website builder. Why aren't these capabilities accessible directly from the media library where most of us add the items to or work with all the time? The ability to filter the library and find files with no usage. This will help organize the library and delete files that takes up storage.
