It's essential to encourage one's affiliates to share our links on social media.

So let's make it easy and pleasant for them... the social media image previews should work normally for any affiliate link, just like it works for a non-affiliate link!

When I send an email asking my affiliates to share a link, I make it easy by giving them the affiliate link right inside the email.

For example if the normal link is:

The link I code into the email broadcast is:

https://www.georgekao.com/instagram?ref={{own_ref}}

...which results in, for example:

This works GREAT to get my affiliates to easily share their links.

What's frustrating is that these affiliate links don't work well on social media... the preview image and title/description doesn't show up.

Is it possible to make those previews show up like a non-affiliate link? 🙏🏼
