Support for expanded PDF Resources in the new site layout

When embedded PDF Resources are included in a course lesson, they open as pop-ups when clicked in the new membership site layout.
It could still be valuable to have a PDF shown as expanded, with the PDF content visible right inside the lesson without covering the rest of the lesson content. PDF Resources have been working like that for a long time in the old membership site lesson layout, so some courses may be set up to depend on readers actually being able to SEE the PDF content right away when viewing the lessons.
Could this possibly be solved by relocating the Resources block to the main content column of the course layout? Maybe as a configurable option?

Just checked the implementation of this feature since it was marked as complete. The change concerns PDFs in the MAIN content of a lesson - however, the PDFs added under Additional Content is still shown collapsed in the right-hand sidebar of the page.
So, we are still in a situation where the "old layout" does not transfer. Curious to know if it is being considered to bring back the ability to show expanded content from the Additional Content section?
Any updates on this would be very welcome!

Tue Olesen I totally agree, same goes for extra videos in a lesson, where the existing "old" setup is really awesome and a lot of thought have been put into choosing embed/not embed and expand/hide on each piece of content, that's just totally trashed now. Please go back to have embedded PDFs in membership site being expanded and visible automatically. With the new community view the PDFs even though they are set to be embedded and expanded on show as a file link. I want a way for them to show in the main body in full not something to has to be clicked on to open.
They also loose their emphasis as they are now listed off to the right below the lesson menu, therefore easily missed. When actually those additional media files/worksheets are a main part of the lesson. Not just extras.

You are removing a feature that actually worked quite well by removing the embedded additional content.
Please bring the feature back for all file types not just PDF's 😊
We use that feature for videos and Audio files as well.
