Registration cut off for events

Allow the functionality to be able to close event registration at a set time period before the event starts to stop last minute registrations.
You can do this for products, but not events so hopefully this is simple to implement.

I just now tried registering for one of my events (https://insightandenergy.simplero.com/events/e/gxFtY95Lhuy7eyJM) which was completed on November 16th. I was able to complete a registration. How is that possible if the update is "Complete"?

David B. Alexander: the complete status updates when the code is merged, not necessarily when it's live in production.
It may take a few days to show.

Lis Alvarez OK, I was wondering if that was the case. For most users, including me, the word "Complete" might imply ready-to-use. Somewhat unclear.

David B. Alexander indeed it is confusing. Unfortunately we have no control over the integration of the feature request board and our Project management app. I recommend you check the Changelog for Simplero updates instead.

Event features can parallel product features in many areas. Right now, the event feature is rather minimalistic. No paid events, events do not show in the contact record, client cannot get a list of events for which they signed up, event the registration screen has zero flexibility, etc.
