The way the setup is now, we as admins need to go into the front end of a site and turn on notification for comments on lessons.

The logic thing to me would be that this is on the backend of the course/lesson setting, as there's probably close to none of the end-users who would be interested in getting notified on the comments on lessons.

At the moment the setting is defaulted off, so many account owners only discover the lesson comments by accident - which may give their clients an impression that they don't care about the feedback on the lessons.
