An important part of the New Experience is the Notifications bell on the top right. It's great that people can also get into Notification Settings from there.

What's confusing my students is that when they go to those settings, they don't see the course that they're taking... because they don't realize they have to FIRST click to be notified of the course comments before notification setting will show it.

What makes more sense is to show, on the notification settings page, all courses they have access to. If it's "muted" by default, show that.

So perhaps once someone gains access to a course, it should be automatically added to the Notification settings.
