global Trigger on Automation
Sherrie W
I'd love to have a global trigger to get notified when someone enters or exits an automation.
This is helpful if you running an evergreen automation that has multiple entry points and need to know when someone joins it or leaves it.
In my case i need to know when those two things happen so that I can also add the person to a facebook group and remove them. because their access can be re-extended indefinatly depending on their purchase activity there isn't really a way for me to add a notification for expiring that would be accurate, i'd have to manually check every one to make sure they haven't had their access extended somewhere else in the system.

You can add a step to the top of the automation to notify you when they enter the automation.
As for exiting, one of the things on my wishlist is the ability to add a series of actions that happen whenever someone exits the automation, no matter how they exited. That would solve this.

Calvin Correli: yes I have the trigger at the start like you suggested but haven’t figured out a good way for when they exit. It would work if it was a linear automation to add the same trigger at the end, but If they get pulled from the automation before they reach that step Then it won’t happen.

Sherrie W: I get it 100%. That's exactly what my envisioned "on exit" section would do 👊🏻
