Global lessons

I would love to have "global lessons" where the same lesson appears in multiple courses and updating the master lesson updates all instances of that lesson.
Also, if a student completes the lesson in course A, and then they enroll in course B which contains one of the same lessons, the lesson should be automatically marked as completed in course B.
Simplero kind of does this right now with the media library, so if I need to update a video, I can update it one time and all instances are replaced. But when it's not a video, it needs to be updated separately in multiple places.

This would be very helpful for me as well. I have courses that are mixed. One part on the platform and another "live". They are the same course, but different dates. "REGULATE April 2025", "REGULATE June 2025"... I would like to be able to change the lessons in one place, and not in all of them.

Here's a screenshot - a video that I have that is ued in 38 different lessons. Now if I needed to update the video itself, that's easy. But for example, if I needed to add a note to this lesson - perhaps add an external link, or a downloadable reference document, or just some descriptive text - I have to update it in 38 different places.

Really complicated right now, the way courses and lessons work. They're closely tied to sites.

Calvin Correli I hear you saying it's complicated, but hear me out - maybe they shouldn't be so closely tied to sites?
What if, similarly to events, we had a Course, and then the Course had a setting of which site(s) to display it on? That would save having to duplicate an entire course if you wanted it to show up on more than one site.
Also, the way my business is set up I have a "core" product and then via B2B sales I set up customized membership sites for my business clients. Sometimes my B2B clients want to try the core product before signing up for a customized version, so I have students who start their courses on Site A, and then want to have their progress transferred over to Site B.

Ali Ryder I totally understand. I'm just saying it's a ton of work to change how this works.
We can do it, but it means there's a bunch of other things we can't do that I think currently would be higher priority.

Calvin Correli Got it.

Hey team
It's kind of the same thing requested here:
Or at least along the same lines.

This would be very helpful for me as well for the lessons that help clients get situate with Simplero the first time. Thank you!
