A really insightful point from one of my forum members (and other members agreed) --
"The way the Forum is designed is such that it is not easy to quickly engage with the content... whether to “like” or “comment”. If I am scrolling down the page and get a hit on something someone wrote, I would love to be able to offer a quick hit of energy there in the form of a like or emoji or quick comment. That is not possible in our Forum as it takes clicking on the post, which then takes you into the post itself to interact, which then requires “going back” in the browser to return to the feed of posts. So the way my brain works, I notice I am engaging a lot less in content and just on fewer posts people share as it takes more time for me to engage with it having to do all those steps."
In other words, the "home" page of any forum (or any category) should allow liking/commenting easily without having to (1) click through to a post, and then (2) scroll all the way down.
The more engagement members have with each other, the more supportive the energy, the greater the retention ;-)
Thank you!
