Be able to change text color of CTA button in navigation on 2.0 sites
Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen
Hi team
It's probably on its way, but just wanted to flag it so it doesn't get overlooked.
In the 2.0 sites we can pick the color of the CTA button we want in the navigation of the site, but we can't configure the text color. That will probably be needed as well.
And by the way LOVE that the new navigation is so easily accessible in the 2.0 site experience ❤
Thank you for all your awesome work
Best

Yes but it doesn't work well. Let the human decide what looks good.

Hey Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen,
We currently automatically determine the text color for the CTA button based on the background (depending on the background color, we will either use black or white for the text, whichever has the most contrast).

Owais Khan that would probably be just fine in most cases, but I know quite a few have a dark or bright color in their color scheme that they use instead of black/white - and they would like to determine the text color as well in order to keep everything on brand. Especially since it was a possibility on the old theme setup.
As always a huge thank you for your awesome work. I know it can’t be easy to release updated features and constantly having people suggesting improvements

I'm also going to add that the navigation doesn't seem to look at the style guide? So in changing the CTA button colour it doesn't look at my brand colours.

Ali Ryder When you say brand colours, do you mean the colors you set under the "Account > Colors and Logo" page (https://simplero.com/go/admin/account/customer_settings)?
If so, that's correct, we're slowly phasing that out. And replacing everything with a style guide.
Or did you mean something else? You should be able to pick the style guide colors when editing colors on the navigation element (if its not working, please open a support ticket, as that'd be a bug)

Owais Khan Okay I realized what was going on. I think if you're under the "preview" for the new site experience, then it uses a default style guide instead of your customized brand one.

Okay that's not quite right. It's definitely an intermittent issue.
