Be able to add overlay to images in Page Builder
Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen
Hey team
I was thinking that sometimes it would be awesome to be able to add an overlay on image elements, so I don't have to add the same image in various versions. But instead we can have one image file, and when I'm using it on a 2.0 page I can just add an overlay. (or maybe add transparency to the image, so it gets color from the background?)
Thanks for considering it.

For now you can always add the image as a background image in a stack etc and then add overlay on that element and it does the same thing.

Directory Toolkit but background image, will sometimes "cut" the image in either height or width, because it's adapting to the dimensions of the content.

Sarah Eskildsen-Mortensen Well I reread your item and I do not know what you are asking for anymore haha. Why are you adding to two different versions? Why is an overlay option if available going to prevent adding in different versions anyway? and what would a transparent overlay even do if it is transparent? May be your wording but not exactly sure what you are trying to achieve? Anyway what I said above is a workaround but you can always change the fit to "contain" and it will not expand outside the container.

Directory Toolkit I can see some of my text was a bit confusing (made completely sense in my head), so I've tried to edit it.
So lets say I have an image that I use fairly often across my pages, but sometimes I want to have it toned in a specific color, and sometimes not toning, and sometimes I need the tone of the image another color. Now I would need to upload 3 different images, one in neutral and two with different colored overlays. What I would love is just have one image file (the neutral) and then be able to add a specific overlay to the "image element" in the page builder when I need it.
