Add WYSIWYG editor to the 2.0 page builder
Siif Floor
Hi :)
Please add the WYSIWYG editor to the new 2.0 page builder.
often we just want to builde a quick page with some text and images in a single section/element... But with the new 2.0 pagebuilder, it is very cumbersome and time-consuming to create a page if you want to write text and add headings inside the text.
In general, it would be super nice to just have an Element called WYSIWYG where we can freely use all the formatting options we had in the old landing pages.
Thank you very much

Another use case for WYSIWYG editor in 2.0 is the ability to add <abbr> and <dfn>. It could either be a button, or "Switch to HTML" mode so we can manually add the HTML.

+1 It'd be
very
useful to be able to insert images from the Media Library into the Paragraph element using the WYSIWYG. Sometimes we just need to insert an icon image or two at the beginning or end of a paragraph.Siif Floor
Yay.. and nay...
I was excited to give the 2.0 another try. Because of the cool way you can manage all the blocks on the pages and I bet there will be some features on the new 2.0 pages that you will not implement on the old legacy pages.
But I had forgotten how limiting the 2.0 pages are, that is was missing the ability to work freely so I gave up again.
I would so much love to see a "Do what ever you want block" on the 2.0 landing pages.
It is time consuming and kills the workflow that we can't do it all in the same block.
I am really missing the ability to add HTML, images, videos, buttons etc. in the same block.
In some cases it is great to have separate blocks for these things... so please keep that as well.. But in most of our cases... we just need a "one-block-do-it-all-thing" equal to the 'Text-sections' in the old legacy editors.
Hoping this will be added soon 😍
Thanks 😍
